Sphere is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a large property services contractor, Plymouth based but working across Devon & Cornwall.



As the Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee all financial aspects of maintenance and refurbishment projects, progressing tenders for accurate pricing, and maintaining strong client relationships.



Key responsibilities:



* Accurately estimating and determining the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.



* Monitor and control project costs throughout the process and identify any deviations.



* Assist in the procurement process by preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.



* Assess the value of work completed by contractors and subcontractors and prepare payments.



* Identify and assess potential risks that may impact cost and schedule.



* Final account preparation, ensure that all costs are accounted for and properly documented.



Key Requirements:



* Full UK Driving License



* Previous Quantity Surveying experience, refurbishment /maintenance advantages



* CSCS Card



* Willing to travel across Devon & Cornwall



On Offer



* Salary Circa £60,000 depending on experience



* Car Allowance
