Senior Quantity Surveyor\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Exeter. The business has a growing presence in the South West, undertaking projects across the healthcare, education, extra care and commercial sectors valuing up to £85mil. They have won a place on various local and government frameworks and projects are administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

\n\nAbout this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: \n\nAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will be responsible for a junior Surveyor who will be managing sub-contract packages and you will report into the Commercial Manager. \n\nKey Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: \n\nWork alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders \nManage sub-contract procurement \nManage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations\nManage monthly valuations and liaise with the client \nDeal with final accounts \nMentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development \n\nKey Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: \n\nBe educated to HNC / Degree level \nHave a proven track record of managing projects from pre-construction through to final account\nHave experience managing projects valuing up to £30mil \nBe well versed in administering JCT & NEC forms of contract (framework experience is beneficial) \nHave the full right to work in the UK and be happy to commute to office (in Exeter) and site as required.
