Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established and respected main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a £15m hotel refurbishment project, ensuring its successful delivery with a focus on quality, cost, and timely completion.



Key Responsibilities:



* Oversee all commercial and cost aspects of the £15m hotel refurbishment project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.



* Manage project budgets, contracts, cost variations, and ensure financial targets are met.



* Work closely with the project team and senior management, providing regular updates on project costs.



* Provide expert cost advice and resolve any commercial issues to prevent delays or additional costs.



* Mentor and support junior staff, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.



Ideal Candidate:



* Holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.



* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the hotel refurbishment or construction industry.



* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage complex projects effectively.



* Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.



* Proven experience managing costs and delivering projects on time and within budget.
