Excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor working for a Civil Engineering Contractor based near Brighton\nMy client is a successful contractor working in the civil engineering\nMy client would ideally be interested in candidates with a civils background and NEC contract experience\nResponsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor\n * Administration of NEC3 contracts\n * Preparation and issue documentation to the supply chain and clients\n * Attend project meetings\n * Monitor change control\n * Liaise with the planner\n * Pre, during and post contract liaison\n * Supply chain negotiation\n * Manage variations\n * monthly valuations\n * final accounts\n * Preparation of project tenders\n * Client relationships\nRequirements of the Quantity Surveyor\n * Ideally you will have expereince in th water sector\n * Alternatively you will have a civils background and NEC contract experience\n * BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 3 years' experience an NEC contract environment;\n * Experience of both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work;\n * knowledge of NEC 3 main and subcontract contract forms\nOn offer is a highly competitive salary, car allowance and benefit package as well as a very good career opportunity with excellent development opportunities.\nApply now
