Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Job Description

Currently we’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to support on a £800m regeneration project in the Deeside area on a 12 month contract basis, Outside IR35.



You’ll be required to:


• Preparation of monthly valuations

• Agreement of final accounts as satisfactory as possible.

• Assisting/Dealing with issues on site that will have cost implications

• Procurement of materials and agreeing best prices on materials before each project commences

• Redeeming the retentions outstanding on previously completed projects from clients

• Assisting in the drafting and reviewing of financial reports

• Chief responsibility for relaying communication for all project status updates

• Administering cost and variation procedures on projects.

• Settling accounts and disputes.

• Adhering to all standards and codes of practice

• Procuring and management of sub-contractors

• Ensuring 100% accurate subcontract packages, with no revisions required



In order to suit the project requirements you must have:

  • 10 years’ experience within industrial/construction projects
  • Exemplary knowledge of official regulations
  • Experience with Energy from Waste/Major Works/Construction projects desirable
  • A degree/equivalent qualification
  • M&E experience is essential
