Overview

Need a 2 yr Project Manager with AGILE CMS (Associate) Content Management System, This is a long term contract role in Chicago's West-loop. This position is in the Digital Marketing operations organization. As an Associate PM you will work with the Lead Product Manager, stakeholders, partners and cross-functional teams. You will be working on software integrations on both internal and external systems. At an Associate PM you will own the project details, improve efficiency and collaboration, and drive best practices for delivering client solutions for a fast-paced marketing organization.
Qualified candidates must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, communications, marketing, or another related field
• 2+ years Project Manager with Content Management System, relevant work experience in an Agile environment
• Experience working with Airtable, Confluence, Jira and ServiceNow
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and managing multiple backlogs
• Strong critical thinking skills and have a process-oriented mentality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail
• Adept at self-manage time, prioritize tasks, and execute deliverables proactively
• Confident in asking questions and discovery when faced with unclear situations

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

• Assist the technology team with delivering technology solutions, communicating, coordinating, and encouraging cooperation
• Create and maintain Jira tickets for Epics, Stories, Features, Tasks, Spikes and Test Cases.
• Manage ticket movement throughout the development, testing and deployment lifecycle using tools such as Airtable, Jira and ServiceNow.
• Work with technical team for time line estimates
• Address issues ensuring project and delivery team can remain focused on developing and delivering
• Assist Product Managers, managing and prioritizing the Jira backlog.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement based on information gathered from retrospectives and other feedback.
• Shield the team from external distractions and interruptions during Sprint allowing them to focus on solution delivery
• Monitor the team's progress and velocity through burndown charts and other relevant metrics
• Identify potential risks and assist in addressing issues under the guidance of mid-senior level project managers
• Help facilitate clear communication between clients, external technology teams and internal teams to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables
