Position: Senior Software Engineer

Buildable, a custom software development company based in McMinnville OR, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the development team. 

We are looking for someone who approaches software holistically, since you will cater to both user experience and functionality. You will be on cross-functional teams responsible for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), from conception to deployment. You should be comfortable around both frontend and backend coding , as well as development frameworks and third-party libraries. Position Description

The Senior Software Engineer's duties include and are not limited to: 

• Designing, programming, troubleshooting, and debugging of computer programs, web applications, mobile applications and other software programs as needs arise
• Frontend and/or backend programming
• Following provided UX/UI design systems and frontend style guides
• Participating in design-engineering review
• Estimating time to complete development tasks
• Meeting with customers when necessary
• Following task acceptance criteria
• Performing quality assurance testing
• Reporting progress during standups
• Communicating task progress with Project Manager
• Occasional (rare) work in evenings or weekends to meet software delivery deadlines

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of relevant work experience 
  
• BS, MS in computer science or related field, or other equivalent education  
• Must be fully eligible to work in the United States

Qualifications: 

• Bilingual and able to read, write and speak French proficiently
• Computer Science degree
• Concentration or experience with machine learning

Technical Skills:

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript required (TypeScript )
• Experience with C# required
  Experience with either Angular, or Vue, or React required
• Experience with ASP.NET or Laravel required
• Experience with relational databases required (Microsoft SQL Server MariaDB, Postgres)
• Experience with data formats: JSON, XML, or CSV required (JSON )
• Experience with source control Git required
• CI/CD with GitLab, Jenkins, Github, Jira desired
• Relational DBs ()
• Working knowledge of Entity Framework (with LINQ) or other ORM
• Cloud hosting environment knowledge desired: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Web server knowledge desired: NGINX, Apache, or IIS
• Working knowledge of Flutter
