Job Summary:

Fast growing software development company specializing in the healthcare field looking for a full time Senior Software Engineer who will be joining our experienced team. They will be working in an agile environment developing a highly scalable SAAS web application and supporting back-end services. This Engineer will also work closely with our developers to support the software development life cycle. The ideal candidate would have development experience using Microsoft technologies and an insatiable appetite to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Lead younger developers on software projects
• Develop reliable, maintainable and scalable commercial software using web technologies
• Troubleshooting software issues when support needs developer’s intervention
• Assist with application deployment, operation, monitoring, profiling/performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Help coordinate software releases
• Work with git source code repository and agile tools

Required skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing applications and websites using Microsoft tools and related technologies
• Solid Experience with SQL, .Net Framework, C#, Entity Framework, MVC, WebApi, HTML, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, React.js
• Understanding of continuous integration and agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of the windows operating system and IIS

Desired:

• Knowledge of database query analysis and performance tuning
• Understanding of SOA development
• Working in an Agile environment
• Git, SourceTree
• Comfortable with documentation and creating infrastructure diagrams
• Healthcare IT experience
• Thrives in startup environment

Education:

• College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
