- A proprietary telemedicine system with an integrated electronic health records system, web-based video calls, and SIP-based phone call-to-web conversion.
- A complete pharmacy software handling large-scale production and fulfillment.
- An e-commerce system with numerous integrated services, such as shipping, payment, emails, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Architect and build key features for major business areas such as pharmacy operations, e-commerce, and telemedicine.
- Produce high-quality code for peer review.
- Provide technical guidance for junior engineers.
- Code review for peers.
Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, Economics, or other highly quantitative disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Solid grasp of computer science foundations, mainly algorithms and data structures
- Expertise in one or more modern programming . Examples are TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, C++, Java, etc.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate has written lots of non-trivial code, has had to design creative engineering solutions frequently, and above all is a problem solver with a sound computer science background. To give more context, the candidate would enjoy coming up with a new code architecture, studying a new open-source library, building a new internal library, and designing the detailed steps to implement a big feature. The candidate would know or be able to learn quickly how a standard computer science algorithm works, such as graph algorithms, sorting algorithms, etc. Having written lots of code, the candidate should possess real expertise in at least one programming .

The Interview Process
- Round 1: Virtual interview with our HR department.
- Round 2: a one-hour take-home test, if the virtual interview with HR went well.
- Round 3: one-hour technical interview focused on algorithms.
- Round 4: a second one-hour technical interview focused on algorithms if the first one went well.
- Final round: on-site visit to our Austin office or video interview with CEO and CTO
