Cox Manufacturing is seeking a professional Senior Software Engineer - Software Engineer Manager to both contribute to and lead our software development team in an information-centric manufacturing environment. This role involves determining the correct architecture for new features, participating in code reviews, and authoring new code.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a development team. Handle team dynamics, mentor junior developers, allocate tasks, and ensure projects progress according to schedule
- Act as a bridge between the development team, stakeholders, and vendors
- Ensure the software development team aligns with company goals and deadlines
- Design comprehensive technology solutions to address business problems while aligning technical infrastructure, software, and services with organizational objectives
- Oversee the team’s work and ensure the codebase adheres to quality standards while also contributing to coding tasks
- Understand and translate business requirements into technical designs
- Possess a strong background in full stack development with experience maintaining and adding features to Access VBA, WinForms, WPF, Blazor, and C# applications
- Plan and document technical specifications for features or system designs
- Write testable, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software quality standards
- Debug complex issues and monitor system performance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing technical team direction throughout development processes, while making critical decisions about technologies, frameworks, and development platforms.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in full-stack software development using .NET/C#
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with efficient SQL queries
- Experience identifying when anemic or rich domain models are appropriate
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end to end testing
- Prior success delivering in an agile development environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must work ONSITE Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm in San Antonio, Texas

Your pay is determined based on your experience and the market data for this position. The salary range for this role starts at $130k and depends on experience.
