Senior Solution Architect - Network and Enterprise Security

Randstad is seeking a Senior Solution Architect Network & Enterprise Security to support a client in Washington, D.C. This role is responsible for defining the overall architectural vision, strategy, and solutions for enterprise network security. The architect will work across multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles, and security best practices. This position requires hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, and Network Access Control (NAC), along with the ability to provide technical leadership, drive innovation, and guide stakeholders through complex security challenges. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement enterprise network security architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Lead solution design efforts, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business goals.
• Provide hands-on expertise in Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, and NAC solutions, ensuring best practices in deployment and integration.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership, driving security and network modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, recommending solutions to enhance network security posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, and application teams, to develop and implement secure solutions.
• Develop architectural artifacts, including conceptual and solution architectures, and present to senior leadership and enterprise architecture review boards.
• Serve as a change agent, advocating for innovative approaches and challenging the status quo.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8 15 years of experience in IT, with 5 7 years in technology architecture and network security.
• Expertise in Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, and NAC solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading large-scale IT programs and cross-functional teams.
• : Experience in the transportation industry and familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks.
