Senior / Staff Engineer - Chip Verification

If so, you should consider becoming part of a robust team of verification engineers within the Infineon Automotive Microcontroller family.In your new role you will:Execute SoC verification tasks and work closely with team members to review and understand the relevant functional and safety-related requirementsWork and align with different stakeholders to identify verification plans and define SOC verification strategiesExecute the verification plan by developing C/C++ test cases and SystemVerilog/UVM testbench components and by integrating 3rd party VIP componentsFor a more senior role, you willUndertake a technical leadership role in Digital/Analog-Mixed SignalVerification at SOC levelLead a team technically by exploring new environments and identifying potential enhancement areas through a new methodologyIdentify and set mid/long term goals based on benchmarking against industry standardIf you are a talented expert in the area of design/verification for IP and SoC whocan handle complexityis able to establish system understanding quicklylikes to work in a cross-functional environment (concept, analog design, verification, DFT, etc.)likes to understand architecture/design broadly and develop towards a lead engineer then you should consider getting as part of a strong team of verification engineers in the Infineon Automotive Microcontroller family.You are best equipped for this task if you haveMasters/Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with more than 3 years of relevant work experienceUnderstand the usage of tools like Xcelium, Spectre(X) and SimvisionStrong foundational knowledge of digital/mixed-signal design & verificationKnowledge and hands-on experience of System Verilog and UVMExposure to version-controlling (eg, Git/Bitbucket, ClearCase, CVS, SVN) and bug-management schemesSelf-motivated, flexible and with strong interpersonal skillsGood communication with interpersonal skills and is a good team player who is able to work well with both internal and external partnersCandidate who has more relevant working and leadership experience will be considered for a more senior positionTraining will be provided based on candidate's background and relevant working experienceIt is a plus to haveHands-on experience in hardware-software debugging at the system or application levelHand-on experience with gate-level-simulations and with debugging/troubleshooting skills is a plusUnderstanding of UPF context of analog/transistor levelBasic analog knowledge for debugging purposesExperience in the Automotive industry in Functional Safety ISO26262 and Cybersecurity ISO21434 are advantageous
