Senior Staff Environmental Scientist

T&M Associates is currently seeking a Full-Time Senior Staff Environmental Scientist in Irvine, CA. You will be responsible for assisting with client metrics, environmental sampling, and inspections, permit modifications and applications, chemical and waste management, as well as annual and quarterly reporting to Federal and State authorities. Please note that this role will require 40% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
• Compile chemical and waste data for Tier II and Form R reporting
• Provide project management support on environmental and safety projects

Qualifications:

• BS required, in Environmental Science, Biology or Chemistry, Geology, or Engineering
• 4-6 years of related environmental project experience . Experience with technical scientific writing a plus
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and interpretations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Current 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
• Must be a strong collaborator with excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills
