Senior Static Engineer Services

We are looking for Senior Static Engineer Services for one of our clients with the following details:

Location : Abu Dhabi UAE

Work Scheme: Resident

Starting date : Aug 2024

Duration : 1 year renewable

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• 15 years experience in the domain is required.
• In Vessel and Layout in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields.
• In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering. Construction )
• Oil & Gas Piping & Vessel Materials. Design. Manufacturing and Testing according to industry standards and company specifications
• International Vessels codes i.e. ASME B31. B16. ASME VIII. ASTM. API. ANSI
• In Piping software & Piping vibration assessment - like PDMS/E3D. Caesar
• In Sour Gas Service design

Standard expertise is required in:

• Fabrication and NLG design.

Job dimensions

During all phases of the Project:

• The job holder assists and reports to the Engineering Manager. The job holder is entitled to comply with rules and requirements of Project.
• The job holder brings support in Static Engineering
• The job holder may have to liaise. as requested. with Iraq affiliate Engineering Dpt.
• The job holder shall observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his duties.
• The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating individually an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.

Activities:

• Supervision and coordination of Vessels and Lay-out Engineering of EPC Contractors.
• Project and cost management in liaison with other disciplines
• Technical papers preparation to support management position for clarifications/ decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries. other entities or partners
• Deviation requests coordination to the project referential. in a timely manner and with due consideration to cost and schedule
• Participation during key project reviews. plot plan reviews. HAZOP reviews. constructability review and design/model review meetings
• Review of Vessel and layout documents in accordance with industry standards. codes and company specifications such as drawings of Vessel & supports. associated 3D Model. Stress analysis report. piping support. MTO. Layouts. Isometrics
• Ensure the respect of the technical rules on construction discipline (correct usage of company's General Specifications and international norms) in pressurized vessels.
• Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered.
• Support to possible technical queries and derogations to Project specifications (technical. costs. planning. interfaces. reporting).
• Contribution to the evaluation of engineering. procurement. construction. installation and review/approval of deliverables from the design contractor (Engineering drawings. calculation notes. specifications. procedures).
• To comply with HSE requirements and to support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives.
• To support and implement the Project HSE management system (plans. procedure and specifications).

• Executing assigned scopes of work
• Supporting and supervising task delegation to team
• Providing discipline expertise to the business
• Participating and preparing reports for project studies. and other equipment workshops when required
• Providing sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
• Co-ordinating with other disciplines during all stages of design development. construction. pre-commissioning. and start-up
• Providing technical support to site/Affiliate as required
• Producing and reviewing specifications. data sheets. schedules. study reports. and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality. competence. and project management systems
• Attend CTR meetings and communicate issues with Engineering Manager as required
• Interact with team members in a positive and professional manner at all times.
