Bryntesen Engineering is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to help lead their structural design team. This role offers a unique blend of responsibility and flexibility, focusing on both structural design work and management. Beyond technical expertise, the Lead Engineer will play a crucial role in project development.

*Responsibilities*
* Serves as the division head to clients, consultants, contractors, and associated project representatives
* Guarantees seamless project delivery under strict deadlines
* Manages and delivers all milestones through a project life cycle
* Prepares and executes document specifications for all project types
* Guides and encourages the development of junior level team members as the organization continues to expand

*Requirements*
* Must be a Florida licensed professional engineer
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree preferred
* 10+ years in structural design, drafting, and detailing for a wide range of project types
* Expertise working onsite and conforming to drawings, specifications, and plans
* Strong familiarity with local code requirements and associated governing agencies
* Superior written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
* Excellent planning, organization, and detail orientation skills
* Experience working with contractors, time frame management, and industry applied methods Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Bently, and RISA3D, or similar FEA software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
