Senior Structural Engineer

Overview PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-disciplined team of over 3,700 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors. Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2024 we have a requirement for a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our Structural Department in Dublin. To be successful and to enjoy the challenge of this position, the role will suit an experienced Structural Engineer with design experience who has previously lead large scale projects in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors (TIC > €200MM) from concept to completion. Responsibilities You will be located in the Dublin office on a Hybrid working basis. The role involves the following: Experience across a broad range of structural engineering projects; experience in industrial buildings (Pharmaceutical, Food or Energy projects) would be an advantage Experience with managing a team of Engineers and Designers to develop structural packages on for tender and construction Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, man hours etc. Progress reporting and resource hour control for the Structural Scope. Entrepreneurial: Keeps up to date with competitor information and market trends; Identifies business opportunities for the organisation; Demonstrates financial awareness; You will have: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent and ideally Chartered Minimum 7 years post graduate experience working for Engineering Consultancies. A Keen interest in the project delivery technology
