Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join and lead the engineering team for a nationally recognized, award-winning architecture firm. This role offers a flexible hybrid or remote schedule, but candidates must reside in either the Atlanta Metro Area or Gainesville, GA area to collaborate effectively on projects.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities and the ambition to develop and grow a high-performing engineering team. Project Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess Multistory Hospitality, Hotels, and/or Mixed-use project experience.

Other project types within the firm include Low-mid-and high rise, entertainment, sports and recreation, faith-based, and general commercial.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating and coordinating with other technical disciplines

Lead project structural engineering team; provide mentorship and oversight of work given to junior staff

Construction administration, including shop drawing review and responding to Contractor questions

Development of construction documents, building information model, drawings, and specifications; meeting the scheduled project issue dates

Assist in performing quality assurance and quality control reviews

Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license

At least 7 – 10 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry

Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form, with an understanding of industry communication protocols.
