Senior Structural Revit Technician

We have fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Structural Revit Technician in Cardiff. We need someone from a structural background who is experienced, talented and enthusiastic about all things BIM related. This role is for an award-winning engineering consultancy in Cardiff with a skilled team covering several civil and structural engineering sectors. 



Project values extend up and into the region of £100m and include schemes of high local significance. The successful candidate will be joining the business in a senior position.



Responsibilities:



Producing general arrangements, Revit Models for building structures in all traditional materials (RC detailing would be a benefit)

Liaising directly with other design teams, clients and contractors

Site visits

Contributing to design team meetings  

As time with business goes on you can expect to be involved with standard and process setting in terms of the business’ BIM operations

We are very much looking for a candidate who wants to be using cutting edge BIM software, someone who can draw and model directly from engineer’s drawings.



What is key, is a solid understanding of how a building comes together.
