QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our C5ISR Center, RTI Directorate, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.
Duties:
- Provide systems engineering support to include analysis of software and hardware architectures and designs. Priority focus on radio frequency (RF) sensors and effectors.
- Advising program management in EW operations to include electromagnetic support (ES), electromagnetic attack (EA) as well as electromagnetic protection (EP) associated with Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) systems.
- Analyze program technical products (drawings, reports, product specifications) and perform technical studies/assessments as required.
- Perform analyses to evaluate the viability of potential solutions to various technical problems, such as how systems may be integrated.
- Support the creation of designs and diagrams for various development efforts.
- Design an architecture allowing for cross-domain tasking of higher-level Electronic Warfare (EW) assets and dissemination of data in support of Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) missions.
- Design an architecture to bring NAVWAR Systems Architecture (SA) data across different systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise with installing, configuring, and operating Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) as version updates are periodically released.
- Assist the Government with creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation to include program plans, acquisition documentation, specifications, manuals, technical guides, and memos.
Desired Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of and experience with Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), Radiofrequency (RF), Electronic Warfare (EW), and PM Mission Command, a plus.
- Prior military experience as an Army 17E, 25E, 35A (EWO; SIGINT) or other military branch or non-military equivalent experience.
- Ability to think outside the box and advise senior management on different operational approaches, technical approaches, and procedural approaches to implementing and deploying a NAVWAR system.
- Ability to coordinate across functional areas/matrix support groups (i.e., architecture, systems engineering, design, testing, configuration management, logistics, producibility, integrated product/process development, quality assurance, reliability, maintainability, fielding, training, operation, maintenance, etc.) as applicable to individual programs.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in related field, .
- At least ten (10) years of experience in a related field.
Travel:
10-15% travel is expected for this position.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
