We are searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the (FAA) Aviation Safety Flight Standards Service.

Requirements

The Senior Systems Engineer will have the knowledge, skills, and experience to:

• Provide technical and engineering support in the development of flight simulator and aircraft data collection plans, studies and test plans, implementation of plans, collection of data, and preparation of appropriate technical reports and papers in support of projects
• Provide technical support to include clearing deficiencies and updating flight simulator hardware and software modeling and databases
• Analyze and install system software updates such as the Flight Control Computer update, Control Forces update, and Common Display Systems
• Contribute to the development, drafting, revising, and editing of reports, articles, manuals, specifications, presentation materials, and other technical documents
• Provide program analyst support for Performance Based Navigation (Satellite and Ground based centric navigation systems) to include attending and preparation for Procedure Review Board (PRB) meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 12+ years of experience (FAA experience a plus)
