Job title: Senior Systems Engineer\n\nLocation: Portsmouth – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. \n\nSalary: Circa £50,000 dependent on skills and experience\n\nWhat you’ll be doing: \n\nParticipating in the NCSISS integration, trials and assurance activities\n\nTake ownership of task planning, estimating and dynamic management when allocated as task lead in order to achieve delivery milestone\n\nUndertaking analysis in support of trials and recordings, and providing a suitable report with narrative to substantiate findings\n\nContributing in meetings, reviews and workshops as required by the customer and external stakeholders\n\nYour skills and experiences:\n\nEssential:\n\nExperience of functional integration, systems trials and post trials analysis\n\nAbility to participate and contribute in technical discussions with the wider team including external OEM’s\n\nGood verbal and written communication skills\n\nDesirable:\n\nHands-on technical experience in systems engineering including hosting environments, IT networking and virtualisation\n\nKnowledge of current and future Combat/Mission Systems architectures\n\nEngineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation.

Shaped like a Type 45 destroyer, the MISC is a unique building that now benefits from new facilities including a state of the art visualisation suite.
