Job Title: Senior Technical Analyst
Location: Mountain View, CA or San Diego, CA (Hybrid)
Contract: 18 months
Pay-rate: $60-$69/Hr on W2

• Document all data processes and create a roadmap that supports the business strategy.
• Own and manage database and data architecture.
• Create and own data pipelines for ongoing reporting deliverables.
• Partner closely with central data engineering, gather data needs from internal customers like analysts and researchers, and translate those requirements into a working database and analytic tools.
• Partner with central data teams to establish and optimize data pipelines using internal technologies and best practices.
• Be the go-to person for anything and everything regarding understanding the data, sources, and origins, ETLs, etc.
• Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.

Skills:

• Extensive experience dealing directly with internal customers regarding their data needs.
• Excellent experience writing scripts with languages like Python and shell scripts in a Linux environment.
• Excellent experience using and managing GitHub.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, large scale data warehouse.
• Excellent knowledge of database / dimensional modeling / data integration tools.
• Excellent understanding of statistics and experiment design.
• Experience working with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and data tools in AWS.
• Experience with programming languages to develop custom applications such as JavaScript and/or Java is a plus. Experience with Survey/Brand Tracker data is a plus.
• Experience with Clickstream data is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau/Qlik Sense is a plus.
• Can-do attitude, hands-on approach, passionate about data.
