Event Field Manager - Fiber and Cable Operations (Sporting Events)

We're looking for an Event Field Manager who thrives in the field—leading boots-on-the-ground teams, coordinating complex network installations, and ensuring that every detail of a large-scale temporary event infrastructure and network deployment runs like clockwork.

This role is all about owning the jobsite—from the first step onsite to the final teardown. If you can lead a team through high-pressure installs, pivot when conditions change and aren't afraid to work side-by-side with techs in the dirt or rain, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervise large field teams across staging, installation, live support, and teardown
• Break down projects into detailed tasks and track progress through key milestones
• Coordinate all onsite logistics and construction timelines
• Travel to events to lead enterprise network deployment builds in a temporary environment —cable, fiber, network equipment deployment, etc.
• Be the escalation point for any hiccups—solve problems fast and keep things moving
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and technical standards
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams

What You Bring

• 4+ years of field project management experience (events, construction, tech installs, etc.)
• Strong leadership and communication skills—people follow your lead
• Familiarity with large scale network deployments (cabling, fiber, network equipment (APs, Switches, etc.)
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front
• Able to manage time, priorities, and people under pressure
• Comfortable working long hours when needed
• PMP or similar certification? That’s a big plus.
• Coordinate all onsite logistics and construction timelines, documenting and reporting on project milestones.
• Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time, 60% or between 150-175 days of travel per year.
