Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Town Planner or Associate Town Planner to join our Reading office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and highly respected team, where you will work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from residential and commercial developments to urban regeneration schemes.



Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage planning applications, appeals, and projects from inception to completion

Provide expert planning advice to clients across sectors, including residential, retail, commercial, and mixed-use developments

Manage client relationships, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded

Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and other third parties as part of the planning process

Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and representations on development plans

Provide strategic advice on planning policy and site promotion

Mentor and support junior members of the team

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and building strong relationshipsKey Requirements:



Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

MRTPI (Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute) or working towards accreditation

Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within consultancy

Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy, and proceduresInterested?
