Transportation Construction Senior Inspector—Tuscaloosa, AL

TTL is searching for Transportation Construction Senior Inspector. A senior inspector will document construction projects and inspect job activities to verify that they follow project plans and specifications. They will complete daily reports documenting labor and equipment used by the contractor to include a description of work performed and any pertinent conversations held with the contractor. This person will assist with office work such as computing earthwork quantities and documenting all construction operations.

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience or a BS in Civil Engineering
• Ability to communicate professionally, orally, and in writing.
• Basic computer skills and related technology.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. Drug-free workplace.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environments.
• One or more of the following ALDOT construction certifications are required:
  • Asphalt Technician Level I
  • Level II Quality Management Technician
  • Certified Concrete Technician (ACI and ALDOT certification)
  • Certified Asphalt Roadway Technician
  • Work Zone Safety Certification
  • Radiological Safety Course Certification
  • Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI)
