Position Overview:

The Service Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the daily activities of our field technicians. This role is essential in ensuring timely service delivery, effective communication between the office and field teams, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and Coordinate Service Calls: Assign field technicians to service calls based on location, urgency, and skill requirements.
• Monitor and Manage Job Status: Track the progress of jobs throughout the day, update scheduling as needed, and communicate changes promptly.
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary contact for customers to confirm service appointments, update them on ETAs, and address any service-related inquiries.
• Resource Management: Ensure that field technicians are equipped with the necessary tools, materials, and documentation to complete jobs effectively.
• Documentation and Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of service calls, including time logs, job status, and customer feedback in [mention software, like NetSuite].
• Issue Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve scheduling conflicts, last-minute changes, or other issues that arise during the day.
• Collaborate with the Operations Team: Work closely with the operations and project management team to ensure smooth workflow and alignment with customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in a dispatch or scheduling role, preferably within the low voltage, AV, or telecommunications industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with low voltage systems, AV, or security systems is a plus.
• Software Proficiency: Experience using dispatch or CRM software (e.g., NetSuite, ServiceTitan, or similar) is .
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with field technicians and customers.
• Organized and Detail-Oriented: Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends if required.
