Electrician / Journeyman Electrician:

DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician to our team. The job title and responsibilities will be based on your education, years of experience and license status. In general, you will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. At the Journeyman Electrician level, you will be responsible for communicating with clients and performing one's own inspections to diagnose and tend to each task, as well as performing these and related undertakings with minimal supervision.

General Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Performing general electrical maintenance.
• Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Performing inspections, conducting assessments, and liaising with clients to ascertain the issues that warrant attention.
• Choosing the most apt course of action considering project constraints.
• Selecting, installing, and preserving the functionality of wires, plugs, panelboards, switchgear, switchboards, and similar.
• Setting up and maintaining electrical machines.
• Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Following Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Always carrying standard equipment and parts with you.
• Monitoring inventory to ensure an adequate stock.
• Logging time and resources spent on each task to calculate costs.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations.
• Providing professional, friendly, and prompt services.

Experience and Requirements: (Job title and responsibilities will be based on years of experience and licensure)

• Florida Journeyman or Master License or 12 years’ experience as a working electrician
• Possess a CAN DO attitude
• An active listener with top-notch verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus
• Deep electrical system, power , blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge
• Good arithmetic skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Observant and thorough
• Ability to work in constricted areas
• Must hold a Clean & Valid driver’s license
• Willing to travel within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties; work nights, weekends and overtime to meet customers' needs
• Must Have All Personal Tools
• Ability to work independently
• Physically fit and capable of carrying up to 50 pounds
