Service Specialist Position Responsibilities
- Responds to a variety of customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours calls on a timely basis; will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug a variety of systems for more complicated problems; installs small projects as necessary.
- Identifies and resolves problems for most types of service calls.
- Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and DAC in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
- May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, system audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation.
- Uses well-developed troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Provides technical support to end users and team members when applicable.
- Communicates with and works with the other members of the team consistently to improve overall operations of the Service Department and company.
Requirements:
Service Specialist Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics .
- Experience in the construction environment .
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Thorough understanding of commercial HVAC mechanical, refrigeration and building systems.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
- Programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
