Service Technician

The Service Technician will diagnose and correct pumping and electrical issues at lift stations and wastewater treatment plants, remove pumps and equipment for repair, remove and install electrical components, and repair a wide variety of equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose and correct issues with a wide variety of water and wastewater equipment and systems.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments to complete tasks.
• Use a crane truck to transport and lift pumps and equipment for removal and installation.
• Train for and perform confined space entry work.
• Repair pumps, motors, and other equipment in the workshop.
• Thoroughly test new and repaired equipment and systems serviced.
• Serve as on-call technician on a scheduled basis to handle after-hours service calls.
• Occasional out-of-state travel and overnight stays are required.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
