Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSUMMARY: The Field Service Technician encompasses DFW Security’s mission to provide “An Exceptional Customer Experience”. Field Service Technicians provide expert-level installation of services, while delivering high caliber customer service. Customers rely on these individuals to provide value and peace of mind throughout the DFW community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide an Exceptional Customer Experience.· Troubleshoot alarm systems, wiring and associated Home Automation devices.· Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments.· Test the operation of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal reception required to establish service. · Maintain a clean and organized Vehicle.· Maintain an accurate count of inventory on your vehicle.· Follow required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
SCHEDULE:Tuesday through Friday from 9:00AM - 6:00PM & Saturday 10:00AM - 6:00PM. SKILLSET:Experience in Alarm Installation and ServicingEffective Communication skills while problem solvingExcellent Customer Service skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:· Working knowledge of 2GIG, Honeywell, Qolsys, DSC, GE, and Alarm.com Products.· Exceptional Customer Service skills. · Bring your own tools.· Clean Driving Record with Valid Driver’s License.· At least (1) year of Alarm Experience.· Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification (RAS Certification a plus!) PHYSICAL DEMANDS:· Lift and Carry up to 45 lbs.· Climb ladders up to 14 feet.· Work in attics and other limited space areas.· Bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods of time.
