Field Service Technician
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling extensively to client sites across the Southeast Region to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for advanced safety systems. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with technical expertise who enjoy hands-on work and solving challenges in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on specialized safety systems.
- Replace components and assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.
- Perform system tests to ensure all hardware and software meet operational standards.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities in the company database.
- Support remote troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to on-site personnel when not traveling.
Qualifications:
- Experience with security or fire alarm systems, low voltage wiring, and networking.
- Familiarity with CCTV, thermal imaging cameras, and other advanced technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage service calls, and adapt to different environments.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights, and using a boom lift.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish bilingual skills are a bonus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
