About the Role:

The Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of HVAC systems within residential and commercial settings. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC equipment to provide a comfortable environment for clients. Technicians will be responsible for performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of HVAC systems. Additionally, they will troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Ultimately, the Service Technician contributes to customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and ensuring that HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid HVAC technician certification or relevant trade license.
  • Proven experience in HVAC repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in HVAC technology or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced HVAC control systems.
  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
  • Install new HVAC systems and components according to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Respond to service calls and provide timely solutions to HVAC-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.

Skills:

The required skills in HVAC repairs and maintenance are essential for diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently on a daily basis. Technicians will utilize their knowledge of HVAC electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair electrical components of HVAC units.
