Service Technician - Advanced Physical Security Systems

Securify seeks a skilled Mid-Level Service Technician for Advanced Physical Security Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in configuring and testing intrusion detection systems, CCTV, and access control systems, along with a strong understanding of IP principles. They should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and test intrusion detection systems, including sensors, alarms, and monitoring equipment.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems to ensure optimal functionality.

• Implement and maintain access control systems, including card readers, biometric scanners, and keypads.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on security equipment to uphold operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide customized solutions.

• Document service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repairs, accurately and comprehensively.

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration, and maintenance.

• Knowledge of cabling, termination on control panels, and programming.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Clean background

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
