Job Description:

Lin Tec Fire Solutions is looking for a motivated, self-starting, service technician to service fire and life-safety systems for the Hawaii service customers. Company provided, neighbor-island, and overnight travel may be required on occasion. Company will provide on-the-job training which may include mainland travel for manufacturer specific certifications.

The Service Technician is responsible for inspection and service for the following life safety systems: fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, galley and range hood fire suppression systems, SCBA, EEBD, fire alarm, and other life safety systems. You may be asked to assist with construction projects or other activities as requested by your manager.

Ability to work independently and good work ethic is a must!! Experience is not required; however, pay will depend on experience in the life safety industry. City/county systems and portables license required within 90 days of hire. Recommended certifications include ICC certification in Portables, Kitchen, and Pre-Engineered Industrial Fire Extinguishing Systems, NICET certifications in Special Hazard, Fire Alarm, and Inspection of Water-Based Systems.

Mechanical and/or construction experience is . Some heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) may be required.
