Service Technician-HVAC
POSITION PURPOSE
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.
Appropriately identify problematic calls and utilize Service Superintendent as needed for efficient time and cost management strategies.
Communicate with the dispatcher the beginning and end of every service call and any schedule changes throughout the day ensuring team productivity is being observed.
Understand and display compliance with R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best practices.
Ensure the service vehicle provided will be clean and well maintained with the appropriate parts stocked and well organized ensuring that parts used will be tracked daily.
Prompt submission of accurate and legible service invoices and time sheets.
Will be available for nightly and weekend on call fulfillment on a rotating basis.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to Field Superintendent and/or Department Manager.

5-7 years of experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting
Exposed to outdoor weather conditions including rain, humidity, snow, wind, cold, and heat.
The environment may include very loud noises, working near mechanical and moving parts, working at various heights, and small, awkward, confining work space.
There is the possibility of inhalation of fumes and airborne particles as well as risk of electrical shock and vibrations.
Must be able to do the following activities for most of the workday: stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, see, talk and hear.
Must be able to climb or balance regularly.
Near constant lifting or carrying of items of various weight, typically up to 10 pounds most of the day. Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds on occasion.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
