Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines for production runs.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, and machine manuals to ensure proper setup.
• Perform routine inspections to verify machine functionality and output quality.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and make adjustments to improve performance.
• Work closely with machine operators to optimize production efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of setup parameters, adjustments, and issues encountered.
• Assist with changeovers and equipment modifications as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training .
• 1-3 years of experience in machine setup, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around production areas for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions, including bending, twisting, and reaching.

The Setup Technician/Mechanic role is crucial to maintaining commitment to quality, compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and a dedication to optimizing equipment performance while ensuring production standards are met.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

Weekends as needed!

1st shift

6am - 3pm

Available for Overtime
