Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.JR56560 Shift Engineering Manager, PhotoResponsibilities:Finishing the required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies while promoting a positive work environmentDeveloping the strategic vision for building out the Manufacturing Development Engineering (MDE) Photo Process Engineering team (Day time and Shift Engineers)Developing high-reaching performance targets and ensuring line-of-sight goals are communicated to your team membersPartners with MDE Operations team, MDE Process Engineering team, other Micron sites and areas to continually improve performance.Partners with Hiroshima site Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Industrial Engineering (IE) teams to validate capacity planning to achieve required wafer outputSupport department business processes for process qualification on new toolsServes as a key area resource for technical supportWorking with other global counterparts to identify and use global best-known methodsAddressing large audiences, executives, and technology authorities on sophisticated topicsKnowing Micron People policies and partnering closely with the People organizationEnsuring your area of responsibility has succession plans for all key positionsQualifications & Skills:Preferred knowledge of Photo processes, and some knowledge of all fabrication process areas.Proven track record leading small and large teams toward common goals with successful track record of prior leadershipSet and measure short and long-range goals for a large team or departmentDemonstrated ability in building and developing teamsProven ability leading multiple complex projectsStrong knowledge of manufacturing team structure, standards, and processesCommunicate and present technical information effectivelyStrong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong data analysis, problem solving, and fixing skillsCollaborating with other groups to build strong peer relationshipsCoaching and mentoring team members supporting their career developmentSolicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failureIdentify, understand, and mitigate risk before making critical decisionsVerbal and written communication skills in EnglishEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or science-related field is required and must be a Senior Engineer or higher with previous leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years direct Photo experience.
