About the Role

As a Shop Welder at RNGD Prefab, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding operations in accordance with company standards and project specifications. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform 4G MIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong and clean welds.
• Interpret welding process specifications and work orders to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they are free of defects, meet quality standards, and are in line with design requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate gear and following safety practices.
• Collaborate with the shop, field and office to ensure timely project execution and high-quality outputs.
• Participate in training and safety meetings to enhance skills and ensure compliance with the latest industry standards.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder, with specific expertise in 4G MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding from a recognized institution is .
