Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shop/Welder Helper to join our team. In this role, you will support our welders and technicians in performing daily tasks to ensure efficient shop operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are hoping to find a candidate who is motivated and willing to learn and can take on the role of our DPF technician. In this role you would be inspecting cleaning and recoreing emissions control devices for diesel engines (DPF's, DOC's and SCR's).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist welders and technicians with setup, material preparation, and cleanup.
• Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and organizing materials.
• Support the team with inspections, quality checks, and minor repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent .
• Previous shop or welding experience is greatly encouraged.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Schedule:

• Full-time: Monday–Friday (occasional overtime as needed).
