Are you seeking an office based role which requires an eclectic mix of technical knowledge, site installation experience, and a good understanding of Health and Safety?\n\nThis varied and exciting Site Logistics Coordinator opportunity is based in the Sheffield area, and exists with one of the areas most environmentally friendly and socially aware companies that you would choose to work for.\n\nThis Logistics Coordinator role is best suited to an individual who possesses Electrical and/or Mechanical knowledge, AND a Health & Safety accreditation (IOSH or SSSTS). You’ll also need to be organised, logistically minded, be an incredible communicator. A keen eye for details would be a huge bonus, as you will be supporting site installation teams with projects across the UK.

There is also an occasional requirement to visit sites across the UK.\n\nThe opportunity is being offered on a full time, permanent basis – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n * Conduct telephone based site surveys with existing customers to coordinate pre-install logistics and arrangements\n\n * Prepare and review RAMS documents and other site specific documentation\n\n * Liaise with all project stakeholders to resolve queries in an effective and timely manner\n\n * Ensure that all project administration is complete in readiness for the site to receive equipment\n\n * Allocate appropriate engineers workloads aligned to their individual disciplines\n\n * React to, and deal with occasional breakdown calls from customers\n\n * Arrange transport and logistics for all pre-install project equipment\n\nTechnical Qualifications and Experience Required:\n\n * A minimum of 2 years of Project Office experience\n\n * NVQ Level 2 (Minimum) in an Electrical, Mechanical (or a similar) discipline\n\n * Health and Safety certificate (IOSH, or SSSTS)\n\n * Construction site experience\n\n * Prince 2 / APM qualification (highly desirable)\n\n * A key understanding of risk assessment documents (RAMS)\n\n * A good working knowledge of a project management system (Monday, MS Project – or similar)\n\nWhat can you expect in return?\n\n * An exciting and expanding company to work for\n\n * Genuine opportunities for professional career development\n\n * A varied an interesting workload\n\n * A company which sincerely respects the work / life balance of their people\n\n * 23 days paid holiday (31 days inc. bank holidays), healthcare, free lunch Fridays\n\nSo, if you are the type of person who excels at delivering cost effective quality, whilst organising resources – this could be the perfect opportunity for you!\n\nApply today, or alternatively please contact Bright Side Recruitment for more information.
