Maintenance Engineer for Supervision of Building and Infrastructure Renovations and ModernizationsLocation: Alstom Wrocław Alstom, a global leader in rail transport and infrastructure, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Engineer. The person in this position will be responsible for supervising the renovation and modernization works of buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations, cost optimization, and effective project management. General Goals and Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with regulations through the supervision of buildings and infrastructure. Planning renovations and modernization and investment projects related to buildings and infrastructure. Optimizing solutions in terms of renovation, modernization, and investment activities to reduce implementation costs. Budget control and monitoring the process of work implementation in accordance with procedures and utilizing Alstom systems. Monitoring project progress and reporting. Managing contracts and project teams, as well as directly supervising the implementation of work. 2. Main Tasks Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Collaborating with internal departments (technical department, health and safety, planning, procurement, etc.) to define the scope of modernization work. Preparing specifications for the contractor selection process. Optimizing renovation and modernization solutions to minimize costs at the design, RFQ, and implementation stages. Conducting the investment approval process in accordance with Alstom procedures. Collaborating with the procurement and legal departments in the RFQ process and contract preparation. Preparing order requests and settling work. Coordinating the activities of project teams, investor supervision, and contractors. Directly supervising on-site implementation at Alstom premises in accordance with health and safety procedures. Controlling and supervising work documentation and post-completion documentation, and ensuring proper archiving. Monitoring plant instructions and system procedures, ensuring work is conducted in accordance with existing procedures, documenting, and archiving information for system and legal requirements. Participating in the creation of the Maintenance Department budget and overseeing its execution according to adopted assumptions. Leading improvement projects within the Maintenance Department. Conducting direct inspections to assess the technical condition of buildings and infrastructure.
