Job Title: Site Manager - Social Housing Maintenance Contractor
Location: Dartford
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
\nAbout the Role:\n
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading social housing maintenance contractor based in Dartford. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in managing planned internal and external maintenance, kitchen and bathroom refurbishments (K+B), and void property works within the social housing sector.
\n
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that works are carried out safely, to a high standard, and within agreed timelines. You will be leading teams of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring smooth delivery of projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n

- \nSite Supervision: Oversee and manage the daily operations of social housing maintenance projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- \nTeam Management: Lead and coordinate teams of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and productivity on site.
- \nHealth & Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring risk assessments are in place and adhered to.
- \nQuality Control: Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with quality standards, and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- \nClient Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients and , ensuring that any concerns or issues are managed effectively and promptly.
- \nReporting: Regularly report to senior management on site progress, challenges, and any issues affecting the project.

\nKey Requirements:\n

- \nSocial Housing Experience: Proven experience managing maintenance and refurbishment works within the social housing sector.
- \nSMSTS Certification: Valid Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate is essential.
- \nK+B and Void Works Experience: Significant experience in managing kitchen and bathroom refurbishments and void property works.
- \nLeadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams on-site.
- \nHealth & Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health and safety requirements, with the ability to enforce these on-site effectively.
- \nExcellent Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and senior management.
- \nFull UK Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is required due to the need to travel to various sites.
