Site Manager

Job Title: Site Manager – New Build Housing



Location: March, Cambridgeshire



Day Rate: £300 per day



Job Type: Freelance



We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee a new build housing development in March, Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading housebuilder and play a key role in delivering high-quality homes on schedule and within budget.



Key Responsibilities:



Oversee and manage all site operations to ensure timely and high-quality completion of the project.



Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.



Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.



Maintain strong communication with project managers, architects, and local authorities.



Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and address any site issues promptly.



Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control measures are met.



Prepare reports and documentation as required.



Requirements:



Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, preferably in new build housing.



SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification are essential.



Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.



Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.



Ability to manage budgets and meet project deadlines.



Strong communication and organisational abilities.
