From overseeing schedules and managing resources to conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to regulations, your expertise in problem-solving, coordination, and leadership will be essential in delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.\n\nRequirements \n\nFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;\n\nSMSTS\nFirst Aid\nCSCS CardIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;\n\nProven history of successfully delivering various projects within the commercial or education sectors\nExtensive background in the industry with at least 3 years of experience of operating in a number one Site Manager position or similar for a well-known contractorAdditional skills;\n\nSuperb negotiation abilities\nCompetent IT / software skills\nExtensive health and safety knowledge\nEffective communication skills, verbal and written\nAbility to organise and manage project schedules\nA solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards\nProven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively\nIn-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and building processes\nExceptional focus on detail to ensure adherence to quality standards and specificationsThe Role\n\nJob Title: Site Manager\nJob Type: Permanent\nProject: Various commercial and education projects in the North with values up to £5m\nLocation: Leeds, West Yorkshire\nReporting to: Contracts ManagerDuties\n\nOn-site safety inductions\nLiaise with the principal contractor\nCoordinate with external stakeholders\nConduct and attend routine site meetings\nReport and work closely with the Contracts Manager\nHandle any issues or conflicts that arise throughout the project\nComply with health and safety regulations throughout all work operations\nOversee package costs, maintaining alignment with the established budget\nIdentify possible threats to the works, implementing effective strategies to address them\nCoordinate and manage daily site activities, overseeing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers\nManaging resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively\nServe as the principal contact between the project team, clients, and stakeholders, delivering regular updates on project progress\nMaintaining accurate documentation of all project components, including contracts, permits, change orders, and communications\nEnhance and maintain positive client relationships by resolving concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with project developmentsThis is a permanent position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
