Your mission Within infrastructure BU you will join the Platform Services department that strives to develop and deploy self-serve tooling to empower our R&D team. As a member of our core platform team, you will collaborate with R&D teams (developers, product, architecture and infrastructure) in order to improve the platform efficiency and reliability.What you will do ✏️As a Core Platform engineer, your key responsibilities will be:- Setup and maintain an healthy and well monitored platform- Setup applications and tools around the platform to best serve the R&D needs (with a self-service approach)- Provide architecture insights in order to help other R&D members designing reliable and efficient applications hosted on our platformOur tech stack is composed of:K8S platform:- Rancher and GKE- Calico (with more modern CNI in mind such as Cilium)- argo-proj tools (argo-cd, argo-rollouts, argo-workflows)- cert-manager / external-dns / external-secretsMonitoring:- Prometheus / Thanos / Grafana / AlertmanagerTooling:- Gitlab- Ansible/AWX- Terraform Cloud Provider:- GCPAbout you - Master degree in Computer science or similar field of study.- 3+ years of System or Software Engineering experience ideally in the web industry.- Fluent with DevOps practices.- Experience in: Kubernetes administration (CNI,...) , CI/CD pipelines, Monitoring and alerting- Experience working with IaC (Terraform, GitOps, …)- Autonomous and innovative mindset.- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.Nice to have:- Experience with troubleshooting live incidents and incident management.- Experience in software development (Go, Python or equivalent).- Experience in working with high scale infrastructureHow you'll grow Within 1 month:- You'll be just finishing your onboarding.- You'll probably have tackled a few small tasks with your peers.Within 4 months:- You'll be trusted to endorse weekly run duty shift - You'll be assigned to minor tasks to ramp up on our stacks and processes.Within 9 months:- You'll be leading critical projects.- You'll be evolving in our technical architecture discussions.- You’ll start proposing future improvements for our high scale platform.
