We are looking for motivated Site Services Engineer to join a globally recognised food manufacturer in Kettering. Reporting directly to the Site Services Team Leader you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

    \n
  • Daily update utilities service schedule
  • \n

  • Daily boiler checks
  • \n

  • Weekly utilities checks
  • \n

  • Boiler Operation in accordance with BOAS
  • \n

  • Absorption chiller operation checks
  • \n

  • Compliance checks
  • \n

  • Manage the waste water treatment plant and carry out laboratory analysis as required.
  • \n

  • Develop relationship with contractors to ensure support is maintained for plant operation.
  • \n

  • Chemical stock level checks and reordering
  • \n

  • Carry out investigations and repairs identified by Site Service Team, Team leader and Process Engineer
  • \n

  • Carry out weekly, monthly, quarterly PPM to the Site Services plant, equipment and process
  • \n

  • Weekly fire alarm testing and recording
  • \n

  • Daily site repairs
  • \n

  • Weekly sprinkler tests and logging
  • \n

  • Monthly domestic water temperature testing
  • \n

  • Monthly meter readings
  • \n

  • Weekly compliance checks & tests
  • \n

Skills and Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Site Services Experience
  • \n

  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 In Electrical Engineering
  • \n

  • External Training On Boiler Maintenance
  • \n

  • Refrigeration/Ammonia Knowledge
  • \n

  • Waste Water Treatment Training
  • \n

  • 17th/18th Edition
  • \n

  • Forklift Trained - Preferable
  • \n

  • Food Industry Experience
  • \n
