We are looking for an experienced Software Application Architect to join our dynamic team, working on high-stakes projects in the UK Government and Law Enforcement sectors. As a Software Application Architect, you will:
Design and implement innovative solutions to solve complex problems, working within business and technical constraints.
Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure integration across multiple systems and technologies.
Lead the technical output within your team, ensuring high-quality software development and delivery.
Champion best practices, secure design principles, and high standards for software quality.
Act as a mentor, helping to guide junior engineers and promoting professional development.
Support agile development methodologies, such as SCRUM or SAFe, to ensure continuous improvement.
Work directly with end-users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Drive innovation within your team and the wider engineering community.


A successful Software Application Architect will have:
Proven experience in designing and delivering secure and scalable software solutions in a range of industries.
Expertise in technologies such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in full lifecycle software development, from design to deployment.
A passion for mentoring and developing others, helping junior engineers grow in their careers.
Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and drive solutions.
