To achieve these goals, we are looking for a dynamic Solution Architect & Technical Lead (m/f/d) for our eCommerce / DTC Platform, to drive our technical solutions forward and lead our talented team.\n\nWith the exciting rollout of our new e-commerce platform on the horizon, we need someone with the perfect mix of technical expertise and leadership skills to bring this vision to life. In this key role, you’ll shape the future of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ecosystem, enhance the platform, and ensure its scalable growth.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\n * Lead the Way: Oversee the technical management and further development of our DTC platform, with a special focus on solution architecture, technical conceptualization, and seamless integration into BRITA's IT landscape.\n\n * Empower the Team: Technical leadership of a team of IT experts and developers (Website, E-Shop, Test Automation) – both in front-end and back-end. Hands-On Leadership: Jump in to coordinate tasks, assist in development, and bring concepts to life alongside your team.\n\n * Build the Future: Design and implement scalable, robust architectural solutions that keep the DTC platform running smoothly, whether it’s for new projects or enhancing existing systems.\n\n * Collaborate to Innovate: Work closely with various departments to understand their needs, integrate business processes with IT, and ensure the platform grows in line with business demands.\n\n * Document for Success: Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical concepts and processes, keeping everything clear for the team and enabling future improvements and scalability\n\nWhat You Bring to the Table\n\n * Tech Know-How: A degree in Informatics or equivalent qualification, paired with 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect—ideally in eCommerce or DTC\n\n * Cloud Expert: Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, microservices, API management, and modern IT tools.\n\n * Modern Thinker: Familiarity with cloud- approaches like Headless PWA, DevOps, Scrum, Microservices, and Domain Driven Design.\n\n * Business Meets IT: Proven ability to align IT architecture with business goals while considering data protection and security standards.\n\n * Stakeholder Whisperer: Strong communication skills to present, document, and sell your IT solutions across various levels.\n\n * Futurist: A knack for identifying trends and crafting innovative, future-proof solutions\n\n * Fluency in English is required for this position\n\nTake a look at what we have in store for you\nAppreciation and recognition for your dedicated efforts are essential foundations for our meaningful collaboration.
