KBR is seeking a highly qualified Software Developer to provide support to our customer that operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.
As a Software Developer, you have the expertise and experience in machine learning and the rapid development of SIGINT and GEOINT tools algorithms and prototype capabilities to support quick-response R&D. Skills include algorithmic development, including the design, analysis, implementation, optimization, profiling and experimental evaluation of computer algorithms, bridging the gap between algorithmic theory and operational capabilities.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award
Minimum Qualifications:

20 years of expertise and experience and experience in machine learning and the rapid development of SIGINT and GEOINT tools, algorithms and prototype capabilities to support quick-response R&D

Ability to design and integrate algorithms, including the design, analysis, implementation, optimization, profiling and experimental evaluation

Ability to bridge gaps between algorithmic theory and operational capabilities

Ability to deliver lab innovations and mission operations advanced support

Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related quantitative science field
Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field

Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programs

Experience with cloud development processes

Experience with industry system engineering practices

Strong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
