Protecting the World’s Critical InfrastructureThe Position:OSPWAT is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager for the MetaDefender Endpoint Security SDK involving 3 sub-teams delivering different feature sets. You will work closely with team members from product development, product management, design, and sales engineering to deliver high-quality products, on-time, in a fast-moving space.What You Will Be Doing: Planning and executing strategies for completing products on time.Supervising the work of multiple teams.Partner with Product Management and Business Development team to develop, lead and execute an appropriate strategy for the next generation of technology across different platforms.Coach engineers by best practices and help them grow.Be both highly technical and an effective people manager.Management experience and ability to set direction and develop the team.Drive roadmap creation and execution.Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level.Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes.Lead teams that deliver multiple high-quality features. What We Need from You: 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager or similar role.4+ years of experience coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, C#, Python, PHP.Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams.Excellent English communication skills via multiple channels (Confluence, Jira, Outlook, Teams).Experience managing and successfully delivering software development products.Must be self-motivated and have a proven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.Know what you do not know. It Would Be Nice If You Had BSc/BA in IT or similar field.Experience in full product development cycle including design, development, testing and deploymentProduct Management and Engineering backgroundExperience with Agile / Scrum working environment
